Happy Halloween!

No tricks! You’ve been a treat for ACEMM all the year through! We wanted to reach out to you and say thanks for being a member of our community, and for the support so many have shown for our mission to promote the possibilities of elemental music and movement at the local, regional and national level.

Here is a short list of some of the great “treats” that ACEMM makes possible through your generosity:

• Four inspiring professionals have been recognized with Spotlight Awards; this recognition offers personal encouragement, and reinforces their impact and importance within their local communities.
• Our website continues to open more lines of communication than ever. Lessons, blog posts, reflective pieces to name a few, and a few more exciting projects are coming in the future.
• A Beacon Scholarship is gearing up to make a big positive impact for elemental music and movement on a community at a local level.
• International connections continue to thrive through our membership in the Orff Forum as an associated institution.
• Look for us November 7-10, 2018 in the exhibit hall at the American Orff Schulwerk Association’s Professional Development Conference!
• The mobile ensemble has been reimagined and we’ve just started accepting applications for local chapters of AOSA to apply for an ensemble to “come stay with them” for three years and may make the new chapter its “forever home!”
• We’re about to launch an exciting new project to help support individuals in a more direct way. Stay tuned for more information!
